When will the Canada-U.S. border reopen for non-essential travel?

CBC News shows that Intergovernmental Affairs Minister Dominic LeBlanc tells Power & Politics that Canada needs more robust advice from scientists before laying out a plan to reopen the Canada-U.S. border.

The Canada-USA border, officially known as the International Boundary, is the longest international border in the world between 2 countries. The terrestrial boundary (including boundaries in the Great Lakes, Atlantic and Pacific coasts) is 8,891 kilometers (5,525 mi) long. The land border has 2 sections: Canada's border with the contiguous U.S. to its south, and Canada's border with the U.S. state of Alaska to its west.
