Coronavirus Canada: Fears of post-holiday rise in hospitalizations as Canada marks 600k cases


Canada's overall number of Coronavirus COVID-19 cases have now surpassed 600,000. Ontario's and Quebec's case numbers continue to surge amid fears about rising hospitalizations and a post-holiday unfortunate spike in infections.

Ontario reported 3,270 new cases of the coronavirus on Monday, bringing the provincial total to 194,232.

Quebec reported 2,546 new cases of the novel coronavirus Monday as the second wave of the pandemic continues to surge.

Everyone should keep taking the virus seriously.

    Some might think that right now Canada is falling behind in Covid vaccinations.

    Just over three out of 100 Canadians have received at least one dose, compared to about 14 in the US and 21 in the UK.
