India has many cases of the Coronavirus Covid-19. India has the world’s second-highest coronavirus caseload behind the USA, with nearly 98,000 cases daily at peak times in September. But in October and November, it is seeing a steady falling trend where case numbers have dropped to about 44,000 cases a day. As of November 11, 2020, the total number of infections recorded in India had been 8,636,011 cases, and the Covid-19 death toll was 127,571.

India economic growth is severely hurt by the Coronavirus Covid-19 Pandemic. Indian economy may contract by 10.3% in 2020, to bounce back with 8.8% growth in 2021, says IMF.
America's economy is projected to contract by 5.8 percent in 2020 and grow by 3.9 per cent the next year, the IMF said.
China is the only country, among the major economies, to show a positive growth rate of 1.9 percent in 2020, it said.
