Peru's battle against Coronavirus Covid-19



Peru has a difficult battle ahead: to fight against Coronavirus Covid-19. More than 12,000 people have died from coronavirus in Peru. Many have died in the Amazonian region of Loreto. Some fear the real number is much higher. The deadly virus has overwhelmed Peru's hospitals. Wards are filled beyond normal capacity in many places. Mortuaries are overflowing with bodies.

It's important to stay 6 feet apart and wear a mask (as much as you can) everywhere you go. It's certainly a good idea to stay home as much as you can.

The following information is according to the COVID-19 Dashboard by the Center for Systems Science and Engineering (CSSE) at Johns Hopkins University.
