Peru coronavirus death toll is 5,571
Peru Coronavirus Covid-19 death toll has reached 5,571. Peru has total confirmed virus cases of 199,696.
Doctors and nurses in hospitals in Peru are struggling to cope with the rising number of Coronavirus Covid-19 infections. They are demanding more government help.
Peru is Latin America's second hardest virus-hit country. The country has endured one of the world's longest mandatory lockdowns since March 2020. Unfortunately, more than 1,300 doctors have been infected. Dozens of doctors have died from the Coronavirus Covid-19.
