Switzerland coronavirus death toll is 1,870
Switzerland coronavirus death toll has reached 1,870. Total number of confirmed virus cases is 30,413.
Switzerland is relaxing its coronavirus lockdown. Bars, pubs and restaurants are allowed to be open as long as customers are seated. Groups of up to 4 people, or families, can now dine out together. Shops, markets, museums and libraries may also reopen. People are allowed to go out and socialize more freely.
Since May 11, the country’s 2nd wave of reopenings made it possible to go out to dinner, once again. Tables should be kept at least two metres apart or separated by a wall.
Classroom teaching is allowed again in primary and lower secondary schools.
The rate of COVID-19 infection in Switzerland has certainly been falling since March.
Switzerland also reopened more international border points.
Studies found that the virus initially entered Switzerland from a variety of different locations.
