Serbia coronavirus death toll is 234



Serbia's Coronavirus Covid-19 death toll has reached 234. Serbia has total confirmed virus cases of 10,733.

Serbia is aiming to end coronavirus Covid-19 restrictions soon. The state of emergency is to be lifted and general elections to be held in June, said the President.

There is a significant slowdown in the number of new infections.

Serbia declared an open-ended state of emergency on March 15 and imposed a night curfew as well as banning people over 65 from leaving their homes.

Schools, colleges, sports halls and gyms have been closed, and the country has also shut its borders to foreigners.

Serbian ambassador Jasminko Pozderac has expressed great appreciation for the initiative of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani to send medical assistance to Serbia to help it in its efforts to combat the Coronavirus Covid-19 spread.

  1. This news article was pretty interesting. It called Serbian President's message 'Creepy' because he was talking to 100 screens instead of real people. It's easy to criticize, but stay far away from people these days. Covid-19 is contagious.
