In the country of Chad, the country’s capital and large cities are in lockdown to prevent a greater spread of the Coronavirus Covid-19.
Travel between different urban areas will be forbidden for two weeks. That time could be extended.
Unfortunately, the country’s high mortality rate is likely due to a lack of coronavirus testing. It is difficult to measure how far the virus has spread in Chad because of the lack of testing. It is also a problem that some people don't fully follow social distancing measures.
