Afghanistan coronavirus death toll is 193
Afghanistan's Coronavirus Covid-19 death toll has reached 193. Afghanistan has total confirmed virus cases of 8,676. There have been 938 recoveries.
On Thursday, the Health Ministry reported 531 new cases and 6 deaths.
Unfortunately, coronavirus cases are soaring in Afghanistan. The people need to avoid an imminent catastrophe. People are being urged to end rampant lockdown violations. Restrictions have been extended in Kabul province. The Health Minister is making a strong recommendation for people to stay home during the Eid al-Fitr holiday, which marks the end of the Islamic fasting month of Ramadan, this weekend.
It's sure important to follow the COVID-19 safety guidelines.
Afghanistan is very likely to extend its nationwide lockdown, which ends on May 24.
Restrictions were extended in Kabul, the country’s most affected area.
