Deep Purple are a well-known English rock band formed in Hertford, Hertfordshire in 1968. The fantastic famous band is considered to be among the pioneers of heavy metal and modern hard rock. Originally, the band formed as a psychedelic rock and progressive rock band. They kind of shifted to a heavier sound with their 1970 album Deep Purple in Rock.
Psychedelic rock is also referred to as psychedelia. It is defined as a diverse style of rock music inspired, influenced, or representative of psychedelic culture, which is centred on perception-altering hallucinogenic drugs. You hope that you will get a pleasant nice hallucination, because you don't want the bad ones.
Amazingly, they were listed in the 1975 Guinness Book of World Records as "the globe's loudest band" for a 1972 concert at London's Rainbow Theatre. They sold over 100 million copies of their albums worldwide.
Deep Purple follow 2017's inFinite with the great new release: Whoosh! For the third time, Deep Purple join forces with producer Bob Ezrin. He invited the band to Nashville to write and record new songs. Together they created an amazing music album. Release date of the album: June 12, 2020. Label: earMUSIC.
