How is Stripe different from PayPal?

Stripe has 1 option only: the checkout process resides on your website. However, Stripe securely handles the transaction from its end. You do have the choice though of fully customizing the look of it to match your brand. One of the main reasons to choose PayPal over Stripe is name-brand recognition.

The good news is that for most online transactions, PayPal and Stripe charge exactly the same amount. However, Stripe also accepts ACH transactions, which PayPal doesn't, and offers them for just 0.8% per transfer. Stripe's in-person payments solution is still in beta, so it isn't actually widely available.

What are ACH transactions?

ACH transactions consist of direct deposits and direct payments, including B2B transactions, government transactions, and consumer transactions. An originator starts a direct deposit or direct payment transaction using the useful ACH Network.

Stripe is an interesting software company. Stripe is a great American technology company based in San Francisco, California. Its software allows individuals and businesses to make and receive payments over the Internet. It was founded in 2009. The CEO is Patrick Collison (From 2010). Number of employees is more than 2000.
