How the coronavirus may impact China's economic growth



This CNBC video is interesting. CNBC's Eunice Yoon reports on how the coronavirus outbreak is expected to take a serious toll on China's economy. 2020 China GDP estimates are now decreased. The economy growth will be decreased.

    1. Economic data shows that China logged 2.3% growth for 2020, becoming the only major economy that grew during a year when the virus exacted a devastating global toll.

      China economy grew by 6.1% in 2019, in line with expectations. China's economy has grown 6.1% in 2019 vs. 6.6% in 2018.

      IMF projects China's economy to grow by 8.1% in 2021. The IMF projects China's economy will grow 8.1 percent in 2021 and 5.6 percent in 2022.

      India's projection for 2021 is as high as 11.5 percent, but from negative growth of 8.0 percent in 2020.

      An Internet forum, or message board, is an online discussion site where people can hold conversations in the form of posted messages. They really differ from chat rooms in that messages are often longer than one line of text, and are at least temporarily archived. Also, depending on the access level of a user or the forum set-up, a posted message might need to be approved by a so-called moderator before it becomes publicly visible.

      In a forum, a single conversation is called a "thread", or topic.
