Central bank chief on why Russia's economy is set to grow
It will be interesting to see how the Russian economy grows in 2020. Russia's gross domestic product (GDP) grew by 1.7 percent year-on-year in the 3rd quarter of 2019, following a 0.9 percent expansion in the previous period and beating market expectations of 1.6 percent, preliminary data showed. Growth was certainly mainly supported by agriculture, industry, and wholesale trade.
Pipeline extensions, gas and oil will have a major impact on economies. USA relationship with Russia will have an impact on economy growth.
The central bank chief has interesting things to say for the 2020 growth outlook.
