Australian Economy - overqualified migrants present $6 billion opportunity
An interesting recent study has found about 1 in 3 migrants from non-English speaking backgrounds are overqualified for their current job in Australia. Experts say this skills mismatch means the Australian economy is missing out on potentially billions of dollars every year.
The economy of Australia is a highly developed market economy. Its GDP was estimated at A$1.89 trillion as of 2019. Australia's total wealth was AUD$10.9 trillion as of September 2019.
